Microsoft Edge for Business

Microsoft Edge for Business, the new dedicated business version of the Microsoft Edge browser, is now available in the stable version of Microsoft Edge 116. All users who signed in to Edge with Microsoft Entra ID (formerly Azure Active Directory) will automatically be migrated to Microsoft Edge for Business with this release.

Key features of Microsoft Edge for Business:

All settings, policies, and configurations that have been pre-established by the organization and its users connected to Entra ID will be automatically migrated to Edge for Business.

IT will have full control over policy, feature management, and configuration through Edge for Business.

The icon will be updated to include a portfolio icon.

An additional personal viewer for Microsoft Edge has been introduced, allowing users with separate profiles to separate work and personal views and use the full set of Edge features for personal needs. It also automatically switches from the personal to the work browser window when accessing work sites. The personal browser window is easy to manage, and IT has control over security, compliance, and updates.
